Grade 4 Civic Ceremony: Women’s International Day

Today Grade 4 was in charge of the civic ceremony. We had the honor of hosting a ceremony dedicated to Women’s International Day, March 8th. This special day recognizes the achievements of women around the world and highlights the importance of gender equality.
Our talented Grade 4 students contributed to honoring such an important day by creating vibrant posters featuring powerful words that describe the strength and resilience of women. They also made beautiful drawings that captured the essence of this day.
In addition to their artwork, our students recited four heartfelt poems written by renowned Canadian author Rupi Kaur. Reminding us of the impact and significance of women’s voices in our society.
Thank you to everyone who participated in making this event a success.
