As we come to the end of this school year, it’s amazing to pause and reflect on how much our Kinder 1 children have accomplished. From those first days filled with wonder (and a few tears) to now—where confidence, independence, and joy shine through—it has truly been a year of incredible growth.
In English, our little learners have expanded their vocabulary, improved their listening comprehension, and grown more confident in expressing themselves. Whether through songs, stories, or simple conversations, they’ve built the foundation for a lifelong love of language.
In Math, hands-on activities have helped children develop early number sense, recognize patterns, sort and classify objects, and understand concepts like size, shape, and quantity—all while having fun and learning through play.
Through our Second Step Program, children have learned about emotions, empathy, and problem-solving. They’ve practiced how to name their feelings, listen to others, take turns, and use kind words—essential social skills that support both classroom harmony and long-term wellbeing.
Our Units of Inquiry have sparked curiosity and a love for investigation. From exploring Who We Are to understanding How the World Works, children have asked questions, observed closely, experimented, and made connections to their everyday lives—all while developing their thinking skills.
We’ve also seen big strides in self-care and independence. Many children can now dress themselves, pack up their things, wash their hands with care, and even help their friends. These seemingly small moments are actually huge steps in their development and confidence.
Most importantly, we’ve built a safe and loving environment where each child feels seen, supported, and celebrated. It has been a joy to watch them grow—not just in knowledge, but in kindness, resilience, and self-belief.
We are so proud of each and every one of them.
