Our Grade 1 students are having a wonderful time at Explora Camp in Morelos! The children have been full of energy and smiles as they enjoy a variety of outdoor activities. The first day was full of excitement as they rode in boats along the river. One of the biggest highlights was jumping into the river from a platform, everyone cheered each other on and, those who jumped, showed great bravery! In the afternoon, the children participated in friendly competitions that encourage teamwork and good sportsmanship.
On their second day, they took part in an ecology workshop where they learned about nature and how to care for the environment. Another exciting activity was the Viking Trail, where students worked together to complete challenges along the path. Of course, swimming in the river again was also a favorite activity. As the day is coming to a close, the children are looking forward to the bonfire and marshmallows while they get dressed up for Disco Night.
It has been wonderful to see the students supporting each other, trying new things, and building confidence while enjoying this wonderful site.
