Welcome to a New School Year in Kinder 3!

The beginning of a new school year is always an exciting adventure, and in Kinder 3, we are off to a wonderful start! As our little learners walk through the classroom doors, they are discovering new spaces, routines, and experiences that will help shape a year full of learning, growth, and friendship.

Building Our Classroom Community: Sharing, Not Competing

This week, third graders participated in an activity called the “Team Treasure Hunt.” In the first round, students competed in small groups to collect treasures (Legos), and in the second round, they worked together to gather treasures (Legos) for the entire class. Through this simple but powerful game, students discovered that learning and play feel richer when we share, collaborate, and celebrate one another’s successes. The classroom was filled with energy, excitement, and the realization that true growth happens when we lift each other up.

Building Friendship in Our Classroom

«This week, our Grade 2 students have been busy exploring the importance of friendship. Through stories, reflections, and fun activities, the children have been practicing how to be caring, respectful, and supportive with one another. We began with the book “Make a Friend, Be a Friend”, which inspired us to talk about what it means to be a good friend in our daily lives.
